Two hardback volumes: the one is the actual book; the other is an abbreviated version of the book, or "dummy," used by salespeople in door-to-door selling, with a register at the end of the book for recording orders. Both volumes are in mustard yellow pictorial cloth bindings with black and red lettering and artwork. Both bindings are a little rubbed at their edges and a little smudged at their extreme cover margins; the dummy is also smudged/darkened at its spine, while the actual book has a little white discoloration and scuffing at its spine. The endpapers of the actual book were split at both hinges and both hinges have been reglued; the dummy copy is perfectly tight and has no splits. Both volumes are darkened at their page block edges and page margins. Pages in both volumes are unmarked, but the dummy has one order recorded in pencil in its register. The actual book G+, the dummy VG-. It will cost more than the standard rate to ship these two volumes by Priority Mail or to places outside the U. S. ; Sold as a set only, in the interest of keeping the book with its dummy copy. ; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall; 432/~100 pages
