Reddish-brown cloth binding, elaborately decorated in black and gold; attached ribbon bookmark. Binding scuffed and smudged on its covers and on its spine, and rubbed at its edges, especially at its spine ends and cover corners, which are a bit frayed. Text block edges darkened and a little smudged; both endpapers just starting to crack at hinge. Binding is square, tight, and unfaded; pages are unmarked except for a mostly-erased price on the front pastedown. ; B & w frontispiece and 30 other full-page B & W illustrations. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; x+340 pages

Paperbound sheet music, cardstock sheet folded in half to serve as quarto-size covers, over two paper sheets folded in half into quarto-size pages that serve as title page and seven pages of music. Covers are faintly scuffed/smudged on their faces and are lightly rubbed at their edges, with the circular shadow of a later price tag (now missing) over the original price. Pages are unmarked. ; Item is stored in a protective clear plastic bag. 1947 is copyright date, but this is clearly a later edition--a note at the bottom of one of the pages mentions transfer of rights in 1964 to the Mills Music Trust. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 8 pages
