Black cloth spine with gold lettering and ruling, over blue cloth boards. Covers are a little discolored at extreme bottom margins, where not protewcted by dust jacket. Spine ends and cover corners are very lightly rubbed, and page block edges are faintly yellowed and smudged. Book is tightly bound, unfaded, and clean. In a dust jacket that is yellowed at its spine and at the extreme margins of its flaps and back panel; that is a little scuffed on its faces and rubbed at its edges; and that has short creases and closed tears at two outside corners. It will cost more than the standard rate to ship this large book by Priority Mail or to places outside the U. S. ; Many range maps; mostly B & W illustrations, but there is a brief section of color plates by Roger Tory Peterson and other artists. Dust jacket is in a clear plastic protector. Updates Eaton's Birds of New York , the second volume of which was published in 1914. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 655 pages
